22 Novenber 2004 - The board of the Association of German Banks today decided that Klaus-Peter Müller, chief executive of Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt, will be the Association's next president. Mr Müller takes up office on 11 March 2005, succeeding Rolf Breuer, chairman of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank AG. Mr Breuer has been president since the end of 2001 and retires by rotation early next year.
